New iPhone 12 Launched!

In the launch event which was on 13th of November, Apple announced the new iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini.

The new iPhone 12 has the fastest smartphone chip, the A14 Bionic working on the latest iOS 14. Apple states that there’s a 30% improvement in the CPU and 40% improvement in the graphics in comparison with the A13 Bionic Chip. It supports the fastest network connectivity which is the 5G network which however for now is of no use in India as 5G is not yet completely launched here. The iPhone 12 Pro is 6.1 inch in size, iPhone 12 Pro Max is 6.7 inch in size and the smallest, the iPhone 12 Mini is of 5.4 inch. They have a 12-megapixel triple rear cameras with a wide (f/1.6), ultra-wide (f/2.4), and an additional telephoto (f/2.0 on Pro and f/2.2 on Pro Max) lens.

An adapter won’t be provided in the box, the buyer would either have to use the old adapter or get a new one which increases the inclusive cost.

The iPhone 12 prices are kind of justified because the A14 chip seems real fast and the camera specifications and the premium quality apple always provides is also included. The only drawback is that the box doesn’t include the adapter but it is for a good cause.

Across the iPhone family, we’re removing the power adapter and EarPods that often go unused, but including the fast-charging USB‑C to Lightning cable that most people need. That shrinks packaging and more boxes per shipment means fewer shipments overall. We’re also transitioning our manufacturing partners to renewable energy. Altogether, this eliminates over 2 million metric tons of carbon emissions annually.
