So if you have accidentally deleted your Instagram account or did it intentionally and now you want your account back, So today I’ll tell you that ‘how you can restore a permanently deleted instagram account ?’ It sounds impossible but it’s actually not, so read the below given steps for complete procedure.
So we can restore or you can say recover an instagram account which is permanently deleted by the user, but there’s a t&c, that the account should be deleted within the past 90 days. The very first step is to attempt login with the account you wanna restore, and for this process you need an android device as you’ve to install an older version of instagram app and the link of the required version of app whose link is given in this post.
Once you download the app, login with the credentials if you remember the last password, and incase if you have forgotten the password, click on forget password option, in both of the cases you’ll see a message like user not found or maybe a message that “It looks like you requested to delete this account. You can learn more in the help centre”, Just don’t click on that as instagram help centre is way too depressing. Now, once you login with the correct credential it goes in the instagram backend that the user is trying to login and first step is done.
Now you’ve to fill a form which is generally used for recovering a deactivated account for not following Instagram’s Community Guidelines, but this is the only way to reach instagram help support team. The link to fill the form is also given below is given in the last. In some cases, they restore a permanently deleted account with followers, followings, and DMs only, not posts. But incase if you’ve ever downloaded your instagram data zip file, instagram can bring posts back on your account too.
Now coming back to the form, you’ve to fill it with your name, registered email id, instagram username, mobile number and in the last you’ve to write that “ I was trying to temporarily delete my instagram account and I feel I got confused and deleted my instagram account permanently. I really need this account back !!! “
So now after this you’ve to submit the form, once done with this, wait for 24 to 72 hours and you’ll receive a mail from instagram team. Basically they’ll ask you to verify your identity for this by clicking a picture of yours having a white sheet in your hand with the code written in the mail followed by your full name and username. Just attach the jpg in reply to that mail along with a jpg of your identity proof like national identity card, passport or driving license.
After this wait for 3-7 days, and you’ll get a mail from Instagram support team. Uninstall the older version of app and re-install the latest version from play store. Now logout from all the existing account on your phone and click on the link you see in the mail, it will ask you to set a new password and by this your account will be restored. So now incase if posts aren’t restored on your account you can mail instagram support team with the copy of your instagram data, make sure you’re replying to the last mail received.
